Sitembile holds an MSc in Mining Engineering from University
of Strathclyde in Glasgow, United Kingdom and is currently a Mining
Engineering Lecturer at the Copperbelt University. With over 8
years experience in the mining industry, her research focus is bias
to Artisanal and Small Scale Mining businesses and mentoring
girls in engineering.

Sitembile is the youngest certified Master Trainer under the
prestigious International Labour Organization (ILO) Start and
Improve your Business program (SIYB) and Certified Mentor
under Mentorprenuer Zambia. She has trained over 100 SMEs to
date, in starting and improving their businesses, under the SIYB program, including follow up, M&E and Mentorship where she has worked with a number of organizations like AGS, NTBC, NII and the CBU – Africa Centre
of Excellence for Sustainable Mining.

She is also the co-founder and Senior Business development
consultant at RAS Zambia Consultancy.
